Privacy Policy

A1R2 ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Sea Grid Armada™ mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

What we collect

Information you provide

• Nickname / Display Name: Your device auto-generates a display name (which you can change) shown to opponents during local matches. It is stored only on your device and shared directly with your opponent's device during a match — it is never sent to us or stored on any server.
• Game Statistics: Match history, win/loss records, and gameplay statistics are stored locally on your device.

Information collected automatically

• Device Information: Your device generates a random identifier on first launch, stored locally, used to keep your match history consistent if you change your nickname. During a match it is shared directly with your opponent's device to coordinate play — it is never sent to us or stored on any server.
• Local Network Discovery: When searching for opponents, your device broadcasts and receives peer discovery information over Bluetooth / your local network using Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework. Nothing is transmitted beyond your display name and this device identifier, and only directly to the opponent's device — never to us or any server.

Third-party services

Google AdMob. We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the App. The App does not present an App Tracking Transparency request and does not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), so ads are non-personalized. To serve and measure those ads, AdMob may still process:

• IP address (coarse, non-precise)
• Device type and operating system version
• General app usage data for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention

The App already serves non-personalized ads. You can review your device-wide ad and tracking controls anytime:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"), and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising

How we use your information

We use the collected information to:

• Facilitate local multiplayer gameplay between nearby devices
• Display your chosen nickname to opponents during matches
• Track your personal game statistics and match history (stored locally)
• Display advertisements via Google AdMob
• Improve app performance and user experience

Data storage and security

• Local Storage Only: All game data, statistics, and preferences are stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate any servers or cloud storage for user data.
• No Account Creation: The App does not require account creation or login.
• Device-to-Device Only: Multiplayer gameplay occurs directly between devices on the same local network. No game data is transmitted to external servers.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Google AdMob: as described above, for advertising purposes
• Legal Requirements: if required by law, regulation, or legal process

Children's privacy

Sea Grid Armada™ is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Your rights and choices

• Delete Your Data: delete all app data by uninstalling the App from your device.
• Change Nickname: change your display name at any time in the App's Settings.
• Opt Out of Ads: limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings.

Data retention

All data is stored locally on your device and persists until:

• You uninstall the App
• You manually delete app data through iOS Settings
• Your device is reset or replaced

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
• Displaying an in-app notice when significant changes occur

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Apple App Store privacy information

For transparency, here is a summary of data practices as disclosed to Apple:

Data collected

• Identifiers: a local device ID used only to keep your match history consistent — not linked to your identity and not used for tracking
• Usage Data: processed by Google AdMob for non-personalized ad delivery and measurement

Data not collected

• Name, email, phone number, physical address
• Health and fitness data
• Financial information
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, or other sensitive information
• Browsing history or search history

Data linked to you

None. All data is stored locally on your device.

Data used to track you

None. The App does not request tracking permission and does not access the IDFA; all ads are non-personalized.
